Welcome to Cheryl’s Critter Care, proudly serving Southeastern, MN since 2007. We specialize in providing safe, experienced, and high-quality care for your furry friends, offering doggie daycare and boarding for dogs under 20 pounds, as well as private training for dogs of any size.
With a focus on creating a positive, comfortable, and trusted environment, our goal is to give both you and your pet peace of mind—so much so that you’ll want to share our services with all your friends.
Leaving your dog in someone else’s care is a big decision. You want more than just a kennel—you want a safe, loving environment where your dog feels at home.
At Cheryl’s Critter Care, we specialize in small dogs (20lbs and under) and provide personalized attention, structured play, and expert supervision. Whether it’s for a day or a week, your pup will enjoy comfort, consistency, and care you can trust.
We offer competitive rates with special discounts for military families and households with multiple dogs. To ensure personalized attention, we board dogs from only two families at a time. Our facility is fully insured, with a secure, fenced backyard for safe play. We’re open on all major holidays and available for on-call care when you need us most.

"Fancy had her first day of doggie daycare at Cheryl’s this weekend and she had so much fun! Cheryl sent me updates on how she was doing and had a detailed report on how the day went when we picked her up – leaving my baby for the first time with someone was scary, but Cheryl was awesome and I was very comfortable. For the first time I got to see my little girl interact with other dogs her size and not be intimidated. Cheryl’s dogs are so sweet and accepting, when they met Fancy they were all like ‘hey, another little dog, awesome!’ and not a single one scared her – and she’s a big chicken! Excited for Fancy to spend more time with her new doggie friends at Cheryl’s."
